Carpenters & Carpenters Apprentices

Our Kelowna construction client is looking to add Carpenters and Apprentices to their hardworking and fun team.

** This position is physically demanding and involves exposure to all elements of outdoor work. Hours of work for this position are based on a minimum of 44 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to sometimes work overtime and alternating Saturdays (half-day) as required.
Responsibilities:
Work with variety of forming systems including Peri, Aluma, Doka, Camlock, Titan and Gang forms
Erecting and dismantling formwork for suspended slabs, columns, beams, cores, footings, walls, raft slabs and stairs
Working at heights and ability to properly use Fall protection equipment
Handle and install carpentry materials
Use of power tools and pneumatic tools
Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches and directions
Erecting and dismantling scaffold systems
Requirements:
1-4 years construction experience (preferably in formwork)
Detail oriented
Safety conscious
Have a good work ethic and willingness to learn
Be able to take direction and work left alone
Be in good health, physically and mentally fit
A positive attitude
Be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs
Having a vehicle is an asset
