HEAD OF OPERATIONS

KAN Recruitment is looking for a Head of Operations for a very well established Kelowna company. As an ideal candidate, you are a leader with previous managerial experience. You’ll have proven experience overseeing operations, you are an expert communicator with a strong ability to delegate responsibilities and collaborate across a wide range of departments.
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven general manager to direct and manage the organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategic plans for optimized productivity
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
Uphold standards of excellence and quality to ensure we meet and exceed our service level expectations (“Compliance”)
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth within Operations
Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
Quality Control
Oversee company fleet, maintenance of vehicles, and ensure minimal vehicle downtime
Oversee on call and emergency response teams
Oversee, develop, and train Project Coordinators
Oversee and manage monthly inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
Work with Operations Manager, Operation Supervisors, Branch Manager, and Lead Technicians to accomplish daily and monthly responsibilities
Collaborate with, provide input, and report to Sr Leadership team
Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
Previous performance evaluation experience
Working knowledge of human resources processes
Experience in managing service-related industry
Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
Strong decision-making capabilities
