OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Salmon Arm, BC
Our Salmon Arm, BC client is looking add an ambitious Office Administrative Assistant to their professional and hardworking team. They are looking for someone to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the role include providing support to the managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing the company’s general administrative activities.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Greet and provide general support to visitors
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
Assist with Warranty administration issues
Assist sales team as required
Access multi line telephone, printer, scanner, server, interact machine & computer.
Assist with Social Media and marketing duties and tasks
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Accounting duties, handling cash, receiving payments & issuing refunds
Maintaining appearance and cleanliness of facility
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Admin Assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Ability to multitask & work in fast paced environment
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant would be a plus
