GENERAL MANAGER
Location: Kelowna, BC

Our well established manufacturing Kelowna, BC client is hiring an experienced General Manager to their team.
The General Manager reports and is directly responsible to the owners of the organization. Working with a staff of 20, the General Manager has overall responsibility to ensure the organization’s goals are met, and plans all operational activities, provides overall direction and oversight to the manufacturing process, and most importantly spearheads the company’s sales and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
Develop the company’s strategy and long-term goals
Work with the sales staff to create sales, marketing & product development plans with a goal of increasing sales
Work with VP Finance on finance and budgeting
Present and implement new strategies & plans to department heads
Manage departments to ensure that they are meeting Objectives and Key Results
Motivate managers & staff and leads the day-today business operations
Requirements:
10 years of senior Leadership Role within a manufacturing industry
Strong sales and marketing emphasis
Positive and energetic personality
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Business or Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to negotiate & review contracts
