SALES CONSULTANT

Our Cranbrook, BC client is seeking a passionate and ambitious Home Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. In this role you will have a real opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial skills and spirit with the support of an innovative team while you help customers.

The main goal of this role will be to successfully manage and navigate a sales process, grow an account base from prospecting activities leading to new business creation. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated, goal oriented sales person. Possess excellent computer and communication skills, have an ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays as required. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the sales team performance to meet or exceed sales goals

  • Maintain continuous communication and contact with prospects to pull sales through the long cycle and proactively follow-up with clients after sales to ensure that they are satisfied

  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Prospecting for new business (Including Making Cold Calls)

  • Greeting, qualifying and informing walk in and phone in clients

  • Manage home projects from initial contact with client through to completion

  • Growing an account base from prospecting activities leading to new business creation

  • Providing quotes and sales documentation

  • Accurately entering and updating of client information & internal communications into CRM system

  • Actively participate in productive sales meetings on the following topics: Product knowledge & sales training, professional communications (telephone, email), Managing follow up calls, Sales techniques

  • Diarizing appointments & required follow up using the calendar & events features

  • Developing relationships to maximize opportunities for referral sales

  • Ensuring that every customer has a stellar customer experience

  • May be required to work weekends or evenings to accommodate client request

  • Will be required to complete visits to clients site for inspections and walk throughs

Requirements:

  • 2+ experience in sales or customer service

  • Positive attitude

  • Self-motivator and self-starter with high level of responsibility

  • Strong sales and closing skills with proven sales experience in a moderate length selling cycle (1-6months)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Organized and detail-oriented with superior critical thinking skills.

  • Strong, professional communicating (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.

  • Previous sales training considered an asset.
