MARKETING COORDINATOR
Location: Kelowna, BC

Our well established Kelowna company is looking to add a creative, organized, independent and highly motivated individual to join their team as an in-house Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for all marketing activities and initiatives of the organization. They will conduct market research, carry out promotional campaigns, identify target audiences, evaluate current trends, and run all social media including the website.
Responsibilities:
· Develop strategic marketing initiative and activities based on brand and values
· Implements social media tactics that support social media goals and objectives
· Responsible for day-to-day execution of social media updates and management of social media campaigns
· Maintains account across all social media
· Maintain and update Google my business channels with relevant information
· Working with website developer to enhance the quality of website
· Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities
· Schedule and organize promotional presentations, project calendars, ensuring deadlines are met
· Stay up to date on industry activities and events; coordinate and manage events and sponsorships within the industry – including promotional activities, tradeshows, in-house events, etc.
· Work with design team to facilitate marketing opportunities and exposure
· Coordinate, proofread and provide edits to advertising agency on all collateral
· Manage and monitor marketing budget
· Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long- term business goals
· Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
· Create, maintain, and strengthen the organizations overall brand through all media avenues
· Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors
· Work with an external marketing agency to produce high level work
· Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format
Requirements:
· 2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing
· Strong project management skills displaying a strong desire to take initiative
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred
· Critical thinker with strong problem solving and research proficiencies
· Ability to comprehend and interpret competitors’ strategies and consumer behaviour
· Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
· Strong multi-tasking skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
· Creative mind with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and web editing packages.
· Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with excellent attention to detail
