Marketing Coordinator

Our Kelowna, BC client is looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator with outstanding organizational and research skills. In this role the Marketing coordinator is expected to be a creative individual with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management.

To ensure success, you should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. Top candidates will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to details

Responsibilities:

  • Work with President in creating a marketing strategy for company

  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.

  • Arrange external marketing opportunities

  • Seek external marketing opportunities in alignment with strategy

  • Review marketing content

  • Regularly reviewing website

  • Oversee new website creation, communicate with website creator for maintenance

  • Send out website updated content

  • Google ads or ad reviews with agency

  • Email marketing campaigns

  • Send out newsletters

  • Presenting/Making content videos

  • Take photos

  • Create Blogs

  • Make company brochures

  • Responsible for social media content

  • Work with President on creating quarterly marketing plan

  • Assist with Budgets for quarterly/Yearly marketing

  • Go to various network groups or events

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in marketing considered an asset

  • Two years+ of experience in previous marketing position

  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.

  • Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).

  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.

  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and web editing packages.
