PERSONAL ASSISTANT
Location: Kelowna, BC
Position Status: CLOSED
Our Kelowna, BC professional businessman is looking for a versatile and highly-organized personal assistant to perform duties for him and his family. To ensure success as a personal assistant, you should exhibit excellent organizational skills, detailed-oriented and provide customized personal support.
This is a full time, permanent position, but requires flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
Supports the family directly as the go-to person for all needs
Daily administration
Booking activities for family
Acting as a point of contact for phone calls and correspondence
Driving the family per requests
Managing household bills
Undertaking personal errands
Assisting with Household purchases
Coordinating child-related schedules, including school and extra-curricular events
Personal travel arrangements
Coordination of bill payments, payroll, etc with accountant
Giving personal and business expenses to accountant
Assistance with a variety of personal/family needs – for example ‐ renewing ski passes, booking haircuts, taking dog to the veterinarian, etc.
Keeps track of expiry dates and presents reminders – licenses, insurance, etc.
Grocery shopping
Shopping for personal items – toiletries, clothing etc.
Shopping for home items – paper products, cleaning supplies, light bulbs etc
Meal planning & meal preparation
Laundry, dry cleaning, packing/unpacking for trips
Running personal errands as needed
Transporting kids to /appointments/engagements/work
Operates out of family home/and or works from your own home as required
Communicates with Work Assistant about schedule to coordinate family activities
Schedule management – blocking time for exercise and other personal requirements
Lunch and dinner meeting coordination including reservation management
Golf (business) arrangements including booking tee times
You may also be required to make travel arrangements and assist with other duties when required.
Requirements:
Must have driver’s licence, criminal record check, and clear driver’s abstract
Previous Personal Assistant or Nanny experience preferred
Ability to manage a flexible schedule
Professional discretion
Computer literate
Well-developed time management skills and Strong organizational skills
A Self-starter, Quick learner, Professional
Have a proven ability to work remotely (this is important)
Responsive, Resourceful
