PRODUCTION ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

Our Kelowna, BC Manufacturing client currently hiring a Production Electronics Technician. T he duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
• Ability to read electrical schematics and single line drawings and company technical publications
• Good understanding of single phase and three-phase up to 600V AC environment circuit theory, analog and digital electronic circuit theory and microprocessor controls and programming
• Troubleshooting of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and other power conditioning equipment and their associated sub-components
• Capable to work with semi-conductor devices used in power electronic assemblies, battery banks, wiring harnesses and power filter assemblies, as well as Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) devices.
• Basic computer skill for UPS operation monitoring and communication test. Be able to complete test reports.
• Product quality assurance testing
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Requirements:
• 2 Year Diploma or Certification in Electronics Engineering Technology
• Must be able to work as a team member, and work independently as needed
• Must be experienced at working with Power Tools
Candidate’s wage will be dependent on level of education and experience. The position also includes group benefits and other incentives after completion of a four month probation period.
