SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Langley, BC
Position Status: CLOSED
Our Langley, BC client is currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic and organized sales professional with a very positive, upbeat attitude. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven team player with the ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships and handle complex sales with long sales-cycles.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients and supervisors to build and grow relationships
Manage accounts including contract changes and client inquiries
Assisting customers in designing their products on their available space, budget, and requirements
Prepare government bid proposals and follow-up with direct leads
Meet with, and educate, customers, contractors, government officials, and landscape architects using various methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, participating in trade shows, and lunch-and-learns
Create and build sales relationships with large companies/chains/potential customers to gain market share and develop new avenues
Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas, as directed by sales manager
Prepare and maintain required prospect lists, forecasts and sales reports
Requirements:
3 or more years demonstrated commercial sales success
Coachable and competitive spirit
Ability to prioritize tasks, plan, set goals, and meet deadlines
Creative mindset
Must be able to learn product lines, specifications, and markets quickly
Excellent communication skills in written format, one-on-one meetings, and group presentations
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
The ideal candidate will build long term relationships with customers
Project managementMust be willing to travel as needed
Focused on the client experience and building connections
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
