ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE ASSISTANT
Location: Kelowna, BC
Position Status: CLOSED
Our Kelowna, BC client is looking to add an Accounting/Office Assistant to their team. They are looking for a competent employee to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative/accounting operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
Daily mail run
Processing receiving & freight - verifying, matching & posting
Coffee machine maintenance, cleaning, stocking
Kitchen/dining room - clean and organized (daily check)
Typing of meeting minutes
Processing AP invoices
General filing and file maintenance (YR end)
Assist with Credit application processing
Credit card processing (back up)
Expense reports (as requested)
Assorted office tasks as requested
Keep all documents in up to date
Regular reviews of forms, policies, procedures etc. for document control features
Forward lists of documents requiring review and updating to appropriate individuals
Requirements:
Proven experience as a accounting assistant, office assistant, administrative assistant or in another relevant administrative role
Knowledge of computer systems
Working knowledge of office equipment
Thorough understanding of office management procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
