ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE ASSISTANT


Location: Kelowna, BC

Position Status: CLOSED

Our Kelowna, BC client is looking to add an Accounting/Office Assistant to their team. They are looking for a competent employee to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative/accounting operations of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily mail run

  • Processing receiving & freight - verifying, matching & posting

  • Coffee machine maintenance, cleaning, stocking

  • Kitchen/dining room - clean and organized (daily check)

  • Typing of meeting minutes

  • Processing AP invoices

  • General filing and file maintenance (YR end)

  • Assist with Credit application processing

  • Credit card processing (back up)

  • Expense reports (as requested)

  • Assorted office tasks as requested

  • Keep all documents in up to date

  • Regular reviews of forms, policies, procedures etc. for document control features

  • Forward lists of documents requiring review and updating to appropriate individuals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a accounting assistant, office assistant, administrative assistant or in another relevant administrative role

  • Knowledge of computer systems

  • Working knowledge of office equipment

  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office
