Accounts Payable Administrator


Location: Kelowna, BC

Position Status: OPEN

Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year

Our client, a well-established company in Kelowna, BC, is seeking an Accounts Payable/Office Administrator to join their team. This full-time, in-office role will report to the Controller and focus on accounts payable and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Code and post supplier invoices, verify prices, and reconcile statements.

  • Provide payroll support, including reconciling payroll ledgers and approving employee timesheets.

  • Assist with cost tracking and preparing orders.

  • Maintain a tidy, professional office environment.

  • Handle correspondence, including emails, mail, and filing documents.

  • Process payments, deposit cheques, and manage credit card transactions.

  • Complete monthly progress billing and track office supplies.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of office Accounts Payable experience.

  • Post-secondary education is an asset.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Familiarity with construction management processes is an asset.
