Contact Call Centre Service Agent

Our Kelowna, BC client is looking to add a Contact Call Centre Service Agent to their dynamic, busy and fun team.
In this position you will liaison between the company and its current customers. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.
The agent will handle a high volume of inbound or outbound calls or both and should seek to create a positive experience for each caller.
To be a successful call center contact agent, you should be customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. You should be polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and adaptable. This is an over the phone position, not a face to face in person position.
Responsibilities:
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
Contact members informing them about the account in question
Establish telephone contact with the member in order to collect outstanding amounts due
Negotiate and motivate the member in a firm and honest manner.
Analyze and update information regarding the customer’s situation in order to determine the most appropriate repayment plan.
Documenting the result of the call, follow ups and next steps
Perform any other tasks that may be required for the performance of your job.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer support role
Exceptional customer service
Experience with computers
Adaptability and accountability
Must have good attendance records, be punctual and reliable.
