MARKETING SPECIALIST

Our Kelowna client, an award winning Marketing Agency who is a leader in their industry is looking to add a Marketing Specialist to their busy and creative team. This position will be responsible to develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. The work includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the client’s marketing strategies, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market.
They are looking for an ambitious Marketing Specialist to be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the marketing strategy. You will focus on creating, implementing, tracking and optimizing the digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels for a variety of business and clients. To be successful as a Marketing Specialist, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies in order to execute successful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Create and deliver marketing strategies and budget plans for clients in various industries (particularly in real estate development, automotive, recreational vehicles, and powersports)
Establish marketing goals, objectives, and key performance indicators
Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
Provide the Account Executive with Marketing Strategies and Budgets for the preparation of Marketing Proposals and Budgets
Manage client relationships and expectations through regular meetings to review marketing plans, report on campaign performance, and respond to client feedback
Respond to client emails and phone calls in a timely manner
Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate for the fulfillment of services by the marketing departments
Complete Marketing Briefs
Assist in analyzing campaign performance (traffic, conversion rates, cost per lead, etc.) to optimize and recommend improvements
Utilize CRM and Project Management tools to document and organize projects
Performing other duties as required
Requirements:
Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role (Minimum 3 years experience)
Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and tactics including traditional and digital marketing:
Brand Development, Website Development. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management (SMM), Email Automation & Marketing, etc. and Market Research methods
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, Powerpoint,
Ability to evaluate marketing efforts through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
Well-organized and detail oriented
Strong critical and strategic thinking
Exceptional communication and writing skills
Effective presentation and relationship building skills
Desire to be learning and improving skills and knowledge in digital marketing trends, tools, and products
BA in Marketing, Communications or equivalent considered an asset
Digital Marketer, Hubspot Certification, or similar marketing courses considered an asset
Google Certifications, Facebook Certifications considered an asset
