Reserve Fund & Depreciation Planner Analyst

Our Kelowna, BC client, a leader in Real Estate Appraising, is looking to add a Reserve Fund and Depreciation Planner assistant to their busy team.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate, complete and timely strata reserve fund and depreciation consultation, advice, and reports to clients.
Reports to the Senior Certified Reserve Planner
Consult with clients about their reserve fund and depreciation requirements
Quote, complete and manage reserve fund, financial model, and depreciation assignments
Prepare and proofread reports: work directly with client from draft phase to completion
Review, research, analyze and evaluate market, economic and property data, documents and bylaws and other related documents
Perform on-site reviews of properties to establish common area and limited common area assets, as well as calculate, quantify and establish replacement cost for all applicable assets
Present findings to clients
Develop and maintain data and costing research archive and remain current with relevant laws and regulations
Prepare material and provide support for Senior Certified Reserve Planner’s participation in business development opportunities such as guest speaking engagements, lunch and learn opportunities, networking events, and additional presentation opportunities
Interacts with strata managers, clients (Strata Corporations and Strata Managers), and external contractors and service providers
Requirements:
Certified Reserve Planner designation (considered an asset)
Diploma/ Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of building components, construction, and financial documents
Strong knowledge of office software
Strong critical thinking, analysis and research skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent relationship building and client management skills
Ability and interest in mentoring

Proficient organizational and time management skills
Ability to network and market services as a Reserve Planner
