Our Kelowna client, a leader in the Pool & Hot Tub industry is looking for a Retail Customer Service Associate to provide excellent customer service for their customers.

They are looking for someone with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in the store, help identify client needs, present and answer questions about the products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct customers

  • Answer phone inquires

  • Perform Water tests for customers

  • Responsible for store cleanliness, wipe down spas twice a week inside and outside. Sweep and mop floors once a week

  • Stock shelves, keep walls and shelves filled daily. Make sure all product is priced. Wipe down residue chemical bottles and buckets

  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services

  • Manage returns of merchandise

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers

  • Provide customer feedback to the Manager

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, Customer Service or similar role

  • Understanding of the retail sales process

  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

  • Basic math skills

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
