Sales Agent

Our Kelowna, BC client is one of the leading companies in their field. They are hiring a talented Sales Agent professional to join their Sales Centre Team. If you're excited to be part of a winning team this is a great place to grow your career. As a sales agent, you are the front line in customer service. You will offer services and provide support via telephone and email. You will also be responsible for maintaining client files, ensuring that customers are served to the best level possible.

You will be able to understand client’s needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets. To be successful in this role, you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top sales agent should also be very competitive and a good listener. Regardless of why and how you are moving into sales, it is important to be customer-oriented, approachable and confident. Your excellent service is what brings customers back.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with new customers

  • Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, receiving inbound calls and following up on leads

  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers

  • Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service

  • Identify and respond to client needs

  • Upselling products and services.

  • Keep a high level of knowledge about existing products and services, and learn about new products and services as they come in

  • Follow up on customer requests as necessary

  • Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly

  • Meet with customers to determine their specific needs and wants, making suggestions as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong listening and sales skills

  • Ability to achieve targets.

  • Superior interpersonal skills

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills

  • Confident and charismatic approach to people
