Sales Representative (B2B)


Location: Kelowna, BC

Position Status: CLOSED

Our Kelowna, BC client is part of the home building community and they are adding a Sales Representative to their busy team. The majority of the clients are B2B (Builders, Developers, Interior Designers, etc).

In this position the sales associate is responsible for dealing with any and all client questions about the products and services the company offers. In this role, you will be expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies.

Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.

  • Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates

  • Maintain sales records for inventory control

  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping

  • Participate in business development activities

  • Achieve established goals

  • Direct customers to merchandise within the store

  • Increasing in store sales

  • Superior product knowledge

  • Maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor

  • Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers

  • Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts

Requirements:

  • B2B or Retail sales experience.

  • A professional appearance.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work Saturdays

  • Driver's License (required)
