TERRITORY AREA SUPERVISOR

Our inter-national client is looking for a great leader to join their management team as an Okanagan Territory Supervisor. In this role you be leading a production and retail team to achieve a high level of consistency and quality, while also supporting retail operations. This role will oversee 7 locations in the Okanagan Area and this includes developing, supervising and coaching team members to ensure the highest levels of product quality and guest service standards are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team responsible for ongoing and regular service for locations in the territory, ensuring consistent high quality execution of products.

  • Accountable for performance management, succession planning, coaching, recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and the ongoing development of team members.

  • Regular visits to locations to inspect health and safety standards and ensuring all required corrective action is taken promptly.

  • Develops long term positive retail relationships with store management.

  • Ensure that the labor and production plans are regularly amended to maximize profitability for each location through a combination of sales optimization and waste control.

  • Ensure Daily Production Reports, payroll, checklists and reports are completed accurately for operational matters.

  • Perform inventory counts, Quality Assurance and Compliance Audits.

  • Maintains a Home Office and works independently/remotely from management and head office; often works outside of standard work hours.

  • Must display strong two-way communication skills to effectively transfer knowledge, both written and verbal.

  • Must demonstrate professional demeanor in all interactions. Uses a positive and enthusiastic attitude to engage others and gain consensus.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and strong knowledge of Smartphone technology.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of management experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment.

  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to travel within an assigned region and with a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs.

  • Must be open a flexible schedule and open to evening and weekend work depending on business requirements.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Have strong communication skills in both oral and written English.

  • Must be self-motivated and guest focused oriented.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure and deal with stressful situations.

  • A strong, positive, and supportive leadership style

  • Proven culinary ability, excellent knife skills, and a seasoned palate

  • The personal skills of being a self-starter, flexible, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
